Meet the people behind the sessions

Johan brings nine years in SaaS, smart charging and renewable energy, including international sales and consulting at Accenture. He works with CPOs and eMSPs across Europe — the vantage point this session’s market picture is built from.

Milos has 15+ years of strategy and transaction advisory experience, advising corporates as well as financial sponsors. Based in Oslo, he has worked with clients across the Nordics, the wider EMEA region and North America, having relocated from Strategy& in London in 2016.

His expertise is energy transformation, with a focus on new energy solutions that combine renewable generation, storage and offtake sources such as EVs and smart mobility, both in front of and behind the meter, powered by smart services and technology.

Within EV charging, Milos has shaped go-to-market strategies for leading Nordic and European hardware manufacturers, eMSPs and CPOs, and has assessed investment opportunities along the EV charging value chain for private equity and infrastructure investors.

He is one of the co-authors of the annual Strategy& E-readiness study, the EV Charging Outlook and the Digital Auto Reports, and he co-leads PwC’s global EV Charging Centre of Excellence.

Milos holds an MA in Economics and Finance from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, United Kingdom, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Chris Heron is Secretary General of E-Mobility Europe, representing more than 80 organisations across the EU electric-mobility ecosystem. Over the past two years, he has expanded the association’s profile and impact, strengthening coalitions across vehicles, charging, batteries, energy, and technology. A British and Belgian national, Chris has 15 years’ experience representing industries across Europe’s electric-vehicle value chain, previously working in the raw materials and batteries sectors.

Petar is VP Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at AMPECO, where he shapes strategic regulatory initiatives and sustainability programs for EV charging operators across global markets. As a Board Member at E-Mobility Europe, he helps drive industry-wide policy development and regulatory frameworks. He specializes in navigating complex regulatory environments and building strategic alliances that advance sustainable electric mobility solutions.

Alex Manolov is Frontier Projects Director at AMPECO, where he explores emerging business models and technologies in eMobility. Alex leads the development of the AMPECO Marketplace, building the underlying infrastructure and partner ecosystem to meet the needs and create new opportunities for AMPECO and its clients.

Constantin Popov is Senior Product Manager for Marketplace and Integrations at AMPECO, where he builds the platform layer that lets third-party applications run on top of a charging network. He also defines AMPECO’s own Marketplace applications, the same path an AppSpark idea takes to reach operators.

Kaloyan Danchev is a Product Manager at AMPECO, working on roaming, interoperability and how charging sessions get priced. His recent work covers OCPI subscriptions, CDR-backed pricing for roamed sessions and payment terminal management over OCPI, most of it driven by what large CPOs and their roaming partners hit in production. He was part of the team that won the 2026 AppSpark innovation challenge.

John Murray leads LCP Delta’s EV practice, delivering EV charging research and consultancy. With 18+ years in the energy sector, he helps chargepoint operators, energy companies, manufacturers, investors, and policymakers accelerate transport electrification.

Luís Castanheira holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), earned in 2004. He has been CEO of REMO – Powered by Mota-Engil (former Mota-Engil Renewing) since April 2022.

He began his career as a Wind Energy Consultant at INEGI before taking on international project management roles at Efacec Ambiente, Elecnor, Efacec Energia, and Consoveyo (Körber Logistics) between 2005 and 2018. From 2018 to 2021, he led the Operations team within Efacec’s Grid Management business unit, while also serving as Interim PMO for the Automation business unit. In 2021, he was appointed Director of Operations and PMO for Efacec’s Automation business unit, a position he held until joining Mota-Engil Renewing.

More recently, he was appointed Chairman of REMO Mobility, one of Spain’s leading electric vehicle charging infrastructure companies. Luís is a regular speaker at major industry events, including Web Summit, Portugal Smart Cities Summit, the Electric Mobility Congress in Łódź, Poland, and the Lisbon Energy Summit.

Rowald Oosterkamp is Commercial Director at Velian, one of the largest public charging network operators in the Netherlands with more than 17.551 charging stations. He is responsible for the company’s commercial activity across municipal concessions, Real estate locations and logistics, and has held the role since October 2025.

Rowald has worked in e-mobility since 2013. He started at ElaadNL as product manager for a B2B roaming platform, then spent three years at Shell Recharge Solutions across product management and strategic partnerships, before roles at CTEK and Vandebron, where he was Head of Electric Mobility. From 2018 to 2020 he also served on the board of the Dutch e-mobility association eViolin working on interoperability and roaming. He holds an MSc in Business Development from the University of Groningen.

Today, he brings that full-chain perspective, from platform interoperability to commercial strategy, to Velian’s mission of scaling reliable, investment-free charging infrastructure across the Netherlands.

David Vallespín is co-CEO of Eranovum since 2021. He has extensive experience in the engineering and innovation sector, having worked for aerospace manufacturers, technology consulting firms, and as a professor at various universities. He has participated in international research and development projects in sustainable transportation and autonomous systems. He currently leads Eranovum’s mobility division, which deploys and operates an extensive electric vehicle charging network in Spain, France, and Belgium.

Nicolás Rojas Correa is Head of Digital Operation and Roaming at Eranovum. He leads the digital operation of the company’s charging network and its roaming and interoperability agreements with Europe’s main eMobility platforms, making Eranovum’s 100% renewable destination charging accessible to drivers across the continent.

As Director of the EVRoaming Foundation, Michel drives and leads the daily activities of the foundation. The EVRoaming Foundation supports on a global level accessibility of charging infrastructure and it owns and maintains the OCPI roaming protocol. They participate in projects from governments, for example the EU Sustainable Transport Forum, write papers about accessibility and have several work and task groups to develop the Use Cases and the OCPI protocol.

Gerónimo Martínez is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of S2G Energy, a Mexico-based energy and mobility technology company. He brings more than 25 years of international experience across management consulting, strategy, supply chain and operations.

S2G Energy began in industrial energy digitization, instrumenting electricity, gas and water consumption for industrial and commercial operators. That business remains active across more than 150 sites and several thousand connected sensors, and it shaped how the company later approached charging: S2G entered electromobility from the energy side of the meter, treating load behaviour, tariff structure and site-level electrical constraints as design inputs rather than downstream complications.

Electromobility is now the company’s growth engine and its source of scale. Through EV Sync, its charge point management platform, S2G operates multibrand charging infrastructure across last-mile fleets, workplaces, campuses, retail destinations and multifamily residential buildings, including one of Latin America’s largest electric delivery fleet operations.

Current priorities are standardized residential charging hubs and selective DC corridor nodes along the Mexico–US border. He is a mechanical engineer with senior management studies at IPADE, a guest lecturer in Energy Transition at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and S2G Energy is a member of Mexico’s Electromobility Association (EMA).

Velizar Velkov brings eight years of specialized experience at Worldline, where he has been instrumental in shaping payment solutions for the EV charging industry. A recognized expert in eMobility, payments, and sustainable business model design, he combines deep technical knowledge with a strategic eye for where the industry is headed.

Commercial executive with extensive experience of 15+ years in building high-performing teams, expanding into new markets, and driving sustainable commercial growth. Kemal’s experience spans across Europe, Middle East & North Africa and Asia regions.

Ryan leads research on Charging Infrastructure at BloombergNEF. He covers the technology, policy and economic factors shaping the sector and how its evolution will affect the transport and utility industries. Ryan authors research on the status of the industry, financial analysis and forecasts. He regularly contributes to Bloomberg’s Hyperdrive column with opinions and analysis from his research.

Prior to joining BloombergNEF, Ryan worked at Jaguar Land Rover for five years, working on their electrification and mobility strategies. Ryan holds a master’s degree in Automotive Technology from the University of Warwick and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Liverpool.

Eimantas Balta is Head of EV Charging Network for Baltics at Ignitis ON, one of the largest fast EV charging networks in the Baltics. He leads high-power charging infrastructure, advancing sustainable electric mobility across the region.

Senior Principal at AFRY Management Consulting, Yasmine Assef supports clients on their decision-making in the field of energy transition, with a focus on decarbonized transport, e-mobility, and energy flexibility. Yasmine has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry, starting her career in the field of energy management systems and smart grids at Alstom Grid. Prior to joining AFRY, she was Energy Services Program Director at Renault Group, leading the design, deployment, and operations of charging services for Electric Vehicles, including vehicle-to-grid and Smart Charging. Yasmine has a master’s degree and a PhD in Electrical Engineering.

Arjan van der Eijk is Chief Operations Officer of E.ON Drive Infrastructure, a leading European provider of public EV charging solutions. With over 25 years of experience in management consulting, the energy sector, and eMobility, Arjan leads the operations of one of Europe’s largest EV charging networks, now more than 9,000 public charge points across 11 European countries and along major highways.

Dragoș Teodorescu, Technical Director at Eldrive Romania, leads the rapid expansion of the company’s charging network, driving the deployment of reliable, scalable, and future-ready EV charging infrastructure across Romania. With a strong background in electrical engineering and infrastructure development, he plays a key role in shaping Eldrive’s network and supporting its continued growth. He holds a BSc in Electrical Systems and an MSc in Electrical Engineering and Applied Informatics from the University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Johannes Mathies is Co-Founder & CEO of FLYYT, building the charging and routing platform that makes public and depot charging reliable for electric truck fleets across Europe. As venture builder with €70M+ raised across previous ventures, he has spent years inside the mobility, logistics and EV charging ecosystem. He now focuses full-time on the economics and infrastructure of heavy-duty charging — the market almost everyone underestimates.

Dr. Meta Kessler leads Commercial & Partnerships at IONITY, Europe’s leading ultra-fast charging network, where she works with the executive team and shareholders on commercial strategy, market expansion, partnerships and new business fields across Europe. She previously led IONITY’s Strategy & Transformation function and also serves as a Board Member of E-Mobility Europe in Brussels, contributing to the regulatory and market framework shaping charging infrastructure across the continent.With 15+ years in mobility, energy and technology, she has held senior roles at REHAU Automotive (Head of Strategy Automotive, through the division’s carve-out and divestment), Vitesco Technologies (Head of Global Market Intelligence, through the carve-out from Continental and Frankfurt IPO), Continental and Bosch. Her work centres on translating structural shifts in mobility, energy and AI into scalable commercial opportunities.

Øystein Tomassen is the Chief Technical Officer at Wattif EV, with operations across Norway, Sweden, Germany and Austria. He is an experienced backend developer, tech specialist and product developer with extensive experience from IoT, telecom, broadcasting, debt collection, security and banking. Since Wattif’s founding in 2021, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s technology and product direction.

Andreas Strand is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Wattif EV, leading the company’s growth and development within green infrastructure. He has extensive experience in management, business development and technology, with previous leadership roles in the energy and technology sectors. At Wattif EV, he has played a key role in shaping the company’s strategy and expansion in Europe’s rapidly growing EV sector.

Martin Symes is the EV Director at Motor Fuel Group, the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, where he leads the EV Power ultra-rapid charging business, its live network and suppliers, and MFG’s EV strategy.

Steven Salo is CEO of Allego and a strong advocate for putting drivers at the heart of the EV charging experience. He leads Allego’s mission to accelerate sustainable mobility by making charging fast, reliable and available wherever drivers need it.

Mariana has been in EV charging since its earliest years, starting at Fortum Charge and Drive and later working alongside operators through platform migrations from in-house and third-party systems. Her perspective is grounded in what these transitions look like from the inside: the data, decisions, and details no vendor puts in a brochure.

Charlie started in EV charging in 2017 on the ground at EV Driver, installing chargers, commissioning hardware, and managing back-office systems. He consulted with utilities on EV rollout strategy before joining Easee, where he built the global integration team and led product across the UK, Ireland, and Benelux. At AMPECO, he’s often the first in the room when a CPO thinks it might be time to migrate.

Alexander Alexiev is the Chief Technical Officer at AMPECO, bringing 18+ years of experience as a software architect in the information technology and services industry. As head of the engineering team, he is responsible for leading the development of our EV charging management platform and consulting charge point operators on their software solutions. With a strong background in open standards such as OCPP and OCPI, Alexander is a leading EV charging software architecture consultant. Over the past year he has led AMPECO’s rebuild of software development around an autonomous AI factory, moving engineers from writing code to specifying and reviewing it. The same pattern now runs work well beyond engineering.

Claude Muller is Director of e-Mobility at INDIGO Group, a global leader in parking and urban mobility. He oversees INDIGO’s European activities as a Charge Point Operator (CPO) and e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP), leading the deployment and operation of EV charging infrastructure and digital charging services across multiple markets. INDIGO currently operates more than 7,000 charge points in France and 2,300 in Belgium, and has also rolled out its integrated CPO model in Switzerland. Claude is now driving the next phase of the Group’s European expansion, with Spain as the next major market.

EV charging has recently been integrated into INDIGO Neo, the Group’s digital platform for mobility services, enabling customers to seamlessly access on-street parking, off-street parking and EV charging through a single digital ecosystem.

Before joining INDIGO, Claude held senior positions at Stellantis and Renault-Nissan, where he contributed to the launch of some of the first mass-market electric vehicles in Europe. He later served as CEO of Egis Mobility Services in France and Mexico, developing mobility, payment and tolling operations.

Gianluigi Indino is a Partner at EY-Parthenon and coordinates the Private Equity practice in Paris. He brings over 25 years of experience in strategy consulting, advising funds, portfolio companies, and corporates on commercial due diligence and value creation. Gianluigi has led 200+ engagements for Private Equity sponsors and is deeply involved in major EV charging and green infrastructure transactions across Europe. He regularly supports CEOs and investors on investment decisions, growth strategy, and scaling platforms.

Stefan Ivanov is the Chief Revenue Officer at AMPECO. He has over 20 years experience in the IT industry and brings a wealth of knowledge in scaling B2B Enterprise companies, business development, sales, management, and consulting. Stefan is leading AMPECO’s global sales and business development efforts. He is a speaker and consultant for technology companies on topics such as sales, business strategy, go-to-marketing, and international expansion.

Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO, leveraged his extensive background in software solutions to address the complexities of EV charging. Under his leadership, AMPECO has emerged as a global EV charging software provider, navigating the industry’s rapid evolution and diverse regulatory landscapes. A serial entrepreneur, Orlin’s strategic foresight into market dynamics and his commitment to innovation have established him as a leading authority in e-mobility.

Christian Hahn received a master’s degree in industrial engineering in 2005, with a special emphasis on environmental and power technology as well as change management. His career began at ThyssenKrupp and Daimler AG, followed by six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Berlin, where he specialized in consulting for the energy supply business. As an advisor, he was primarily responsible for areas within strategy and business development, optimizing business processes and project management, smart energy, intelligent networks, and smart metering. He began working on his first electric vehicle projects in 2008. He joined Hubject in 2012, where he started as Head of Business Development and Administration. Christian Hahn was appointed CEO of Hubject GmbH in January 2015. Following a change in the management team in January 2019, his primary focus is now on strategy, investor relations, and the global Hubject company setup.

A graduate of the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Saint-Etienne (ENISE/Centrale Lyon), Wilfried began his career in the Vinci Group’s Construction division before joining VINCI Park’s UK subsidiary in 2002 to develop the concession business.

Promoted to International Director in 2005, he is responsible for expansion in Central Europe and North America. In this capacity, he oversaw several mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of a stake in the American company LAZ Parking, where he became Senior Vice-President in charge of operations in 2010.

In 2012, he was asked to head up European activities before being appointed, in 2015, to head up the Group’s North American and UK activities, now known as INDIGO. Appointed Director of Digital and Customer Experience in November 2022, he is responsible for the worldwide management of the Digital, Customer Experience and e-Mobility divisions, with the ambition of accelerating the Group’s transformation in these areas.

Glenn L’Heveder is VP Business Development Europe at AMPECO, based in Paris. He has spent fifteen years in enterprise software and e-mobility, first running smart grid programmes for utilities including Iberdrola, GRDF and EDP, later at Hubject and GreenFlux. As AMPECO’s first hire outside Bulgaria he built the European business development team, and he led the partnership with INDIGO.

Julien Drevon is a Director at EY-Parthenon, specializing in EV charging and e-mobility strategy and transactions. He has 10 years of strategy consulting experience, advising leading CPOs, investors, and corporates across Europe. Julien has led numerous commercial due diligences and corporate strategy projects along the EV charging value chain, covering commercial strategy, organization and portfolio performance, network optimization, and market entry. He works closely with C-level executives on both M&A situations and complex growth and performance decisions.

Dr. Christoph Heilmann is Managing Director of ChargeGuru Germany, one of Europe’s leading CPOs for private charging in apartment and office buildings — a company that manages charging contracts covering around two million parking spaces across the continent. He leads the ChargeGuru Germany since November 2025 after joining ChargeGuru as Director of Operations in 2024.

Christoph has worked at the intersection of energy, automotive and EV charging for over a decade. He spent nine years at McKinsey & Company, most recently as Engagement Manager, leading strategy, growth and digitalisation projects for energy and automotive players across Germany, the UK and Central America. He holds a PhD from the Technical University of Munich, where his doctoral research focused on smart charging and its impact on power grids.

At ChargeGuru, he combines that technical depth with hands-on operational leadership to advance the company’s mission of making EV charging in shared and private buildings simple, reliable and accessible across Europe.

Richard is the Product & Operations Director for Smart Charge – a dedicated EV charging business that gives drivers access to ultra-rapid EV charging across Sainsbury’s stores. An e-mobility specialist, he is focused on developing profitable business models that are technically reliable and delight customers. Richard manages the product and platform roadmap and ensures the daily operations and maintenance of all charging stations for Smart Charge at Sainsbury’s.

Prior to joining Sainsbury’s, Richard led the digital approach to charging for JLR’s Electric Vehicles and spent a decade in consulting across the EV charging industry for auto OEMs, energy retailers, innovative start-ups and fuels retailers.

Sandra is a serial entrepreneur and thought leader in the energy sector. She is the co-founder and CGO of Beebop. She previously co-founded tiko, Europe’s first scaling residential Virtual Power Plant, acquired by the multinational utility ENGIE. She also co-founded XAdvice, an Insight-as-a-Service platform in energy. She holds board positions at Energie360, Qvantum Technologies, ADEV Wind and Junction Growth Investors.

Frédéric Ridou is Director Charging Network Development at Huawei Digital Power, where he is responsible for driving the deployment of innovative EV charging solutions in Germany. An Alumni of GEM, ESCP, BI Oslo and IFP School, Frédéric has held business development positions across the French and German energy and EV Charging sectors. His focus is on high-power charging, charging infrastructure and the integration of energy storage solutions to address the growing demands of electric mobility. He is particularly engaged in working with CPOs and EV charging infrastructure partners to accelerate the transition towards scalable and reliable charging networks.
