MobilityTech Asia – Bangkok (formerly Electric Vehicle Asia) is one of Southeast Asia’s anchor mobility shows, organized by Informa Markets and co-located with Asia Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) and the International Electric Vehicle Technology Conference and Exhibition (iEVTech). The 2026 edition brings together 250+ exhibiting brands and 200+ speakers, with endorsement from Thailand’s Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Industry and co-organization by the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT). Its audience spans policymakers, charge point operators, automotive OEMs, energy utilities, investors, and the wider mobility supply chain.

AMPECO exhibits at MTAB 2026 for the first time at Booth G-G24, following the global expansion of its AI-native software platform for EV charging operators worldwide. Supporting 200+ networks across 70+ markets, we’ll bring the practices that work in the world’s most advanced charging markets to operators scaling in Southeast Asia. At the booth, the team shows the platform operators run their network on, the back office and the mobile app, built to handle diverse hardware (CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T) and the realities of operating beyond borders. On July 3, Petar Georgiev presents on roaming and charging utilization in the CharIN-hosted session.

The agenda spans AI-powered mobility, smart charging infrastructure, EV technology, and sustainable energy across the co-located ASEW and iEVTech programs.

Meet AMPECO at MobilityTech Asia - Bangkok (MTAB) 2026 - MobilityTech Asia - Bangkok (formerly Electric Vehicle Asia) is one of Southeast Asia's anchor mobility shows, organized by Informa Markets and co-located with Asia Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) and the International Electric Vehicle Technology Conference and Exhibition (iEVTech). Speaking Session

Strategic approaches to EV roaming for maximizing charging utilization

Petar Georgiev, VP Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at AMPECO, will present in the CharIN-hosted session, then join the panel “Connecting Global Knowledge for Smart Mobility” at the Future Move Forum.

With operators deploying thousands of charge points, physical infrastructure is no longer the bottleneck; interoperability and accessibility are. The session looks at how EV roaming raises charging utilization across markets by exposing stations to drivers beyond a single operator’s app, so operators reach more drivers and get more sessions per charge point while e-mobility service providers offer single-point access to multiple networks.

Key takeaways

  • How different roaming models, from hub-based approaches to bilateral OCPI peer-to-peer agreements, resolve specific market tensions
  • Why interoperability and accessibility, not charger count, now cap utilization
  • How to keep control of the commercial relationship while ensuring transparent financial settlement
  • Where the friction sits: tariff transparency, authorization and payment interoperability, and communicating pricing over protocols like OCPI

Date: July 3, 2026 · Time: Session 13:00–15:30 ICT · Location: The Summit Stage, Hall 1, QSNCC, Bangkok
