Congress Laadinfra ’26 returns for its Dutch edition, bringing together more than 400 charging infrastructure professionals at De Rijtuigenloods in Amersfoort on May 12, 2026. The full-day program is built around the theme “Grip on the Grid,” addressing the challenges now defining the Dutch market: grid congestion, limited connection capacity, price transparency at public charging stations, and the electrification of logistics and heavy transport. The AMPECO team will be present once again at this event edition, with Johan van Kooten, AMPECO’s Strategic Business Development Director Europe, who will deliver a breakout session titled “The EV Charging Leadership of the Future: Aligning Your Tech Stack & Operational Model for Scale.” The session explores how leading CPOs are building the platform strategies that will define market leadership by 2030.
The congress brings together a diverse audience drawn from charge point operators, government and policy bodies, fleet operators, utility companies, and technology providers. 75% of attendees hold decision-making or influential roles in their organizations. The day closes with a debate, the presentation of the Laadinfra Innovation Award, and networking drinks.
BREAKOUT SESSION

Join Johan van Kooten, Strategic Business Development Director Europe, for a breakout session on May 12 at 11:45 at De Rijtuigenloods, Amersfoort.
The EV charging industry is crossing the chasm from early adoption to large-scale maturity. Investors, drivers, and regulators now demand Amazon-level service from an industry that is barely teenage — and operators who reach 2030 as leaders will be those who chose the right platform strategy today.
This session maps the roads for leading operators: orchestrating best-in-class solutions and services while enabling strategic platform flexibility. Johan van Kooten walks through the dominant tech stack approaches — All-In-One, Modular, and the emerging Integrated Platform — and shows how an extensible, API-first platform allows operators to adapt their strategy as the business evolves, without being locked into inflexible architecture. Drawing on real CPO examples and AMPECO’s own AI-native development process, Johan will show how to adapt fast, develop faster, and operate efficiently at scale. He’ll also share best practices on how AMPECO enables leading CPOs with CoOperator, AMPECO’s AI agent for EV charging operations.
