What’s your role at AMPECO?
I work at AMPECO as the Strategic Business Development Director for the European market. I focus on larger accounts, including the Benelux region, as I’m from the Netherlands.
What stands out about AMPECO’s company culture?
The colleagues are incredibly supportive, both internally and externally. When I joined AMPECO, whenever I had questions, everyone was willing to help. We have a very open culture, so if you encounter any challenges or disagree with something, you can easily discuss it with your colleagues. When you’re unclear about a certain topic, they’re very eager to help find the right solution or answer for you.
This same approach extends to our customers. For instance, if a customer has a very specific need or wants to develop a particular feature, we’re very open to it. We’re truly flexible and can implement changes quickly. I believe this is exactly what you need in the EV charging market – you must be flexible to win in this competition.
What do you like most about your team?
I’m part of the sales team, and what I really love about the team is that we connect on both a personal and professional level. We have amazing people who are truly dedicated and focused on winning the right customers for AMPECO. That’s the right dynamic we need because we’re in this together.
For me, it’s not just about the sales team where I work. When we pursue a deal with a particular client, we collaborate with the consultants within the company and the product team—it’s about the whole organization working together. That’s the only way to win new clients and partners.
What makes AMPECO stand out in the market?
The AMPECO platform’s impressive number of functionalities and features, having been in the market for just six years, is also reflected in the feedback I get from many prospects and consultants we work with—they’re really impressed by what they see.
We can offer these features because we’re a customer-focused organization. We’re very flexible, so if somebody requests a certain feature, we can develop it quickly while ensuring we understand exactly what the customer wants to see.
Another strength is our global reach. Being active in different geographies worldwide means we need to provide features that support our clients’ operations in those various countries. For example, some countries are leaders in dynamic electricity contracts, like the Nordics, where we’ve been working for several years. We can already offer these dynamic energy contract integrations in our platform, which is quite unique.
What makes AMPECO’s platform unique?
What makes AMPECO the leading platform is our focus on empowering our customers. We provide them with the tools—in this case, the software—to manage their CPO and EMSP business. They can opt for our white-label solution with our developers’ hub and app, but we also give them the flexibility through our API integrations to build their own portals and apps and use their own invoicing systems.
This is exactly what you need when you look at the market size. We’re still really at the beginning when you consider the number of cars on the road and the percentage that are electric. We’re in a great position to remain the market leader.
How would you describe AMPECO’s key strengths?
First and foremost, AMPECO is a leading company in the CPMS EV charging software market. We’re ahead in terms of the features and functionalities we offer, as well as all the API integrations we provide to our customers. Beyond that, I would highlight our customer focus – both on the service side when a client is already with us, we’re very willing to support them in their daily operations. AMPECO is future-focused, meaning we empower our customers, and what you see with the large operators and MSPs is they want to manage their business, they want to be empowered, and that’s exactly what AMPECO offers to our customers.
