About PayMe

PayMe is a mobile payment service from HSBC, currently available only for Hong Kong users with local phone numbers and banks. Users can pay businesses, transfer money to one another using a mobile app, linked to their credit card or (any local) bank account.

Full visibility of the money flow

• Money is transferred directly from the EV driver’s credit or debit card to your account. AMPECO does not charge transaction fees.
• You track all your payments and get real-time visibility of their payment status on the AMPECO platform.

Enhanced security

• Pre-authorization allows a specific amount of money to be reserved on the EV driver’s payment card before the start of the session, ensuring the Operator can collect the money at the end of the session.
• Card tokenization allows for easier and more secure transactions without the need to share actual card details. Additionally, it enables merchants to securely store customer payment information for future transactions, enhancing convenience for both parties.
• 3D Secure (3DS) authentication for credit card transactions protects against fraudulent actors.

• Registered customers can change or delete credit cards from their accounts.
• Refund policies apply.
