When he’s not managing complex automated pipelines, you can find him playing board games, running, hiking, or relaxing by watching tv series. His endless positivity is contagious, and we’re happy our systems are in such able hands.

Lyubo, what made you want to work at AMPECO?

Two main things made me want to join AMPECO almost a year ago. I enjoy trying new things, and being part of the EV industry is relatively new, so I was excited to join AMPECO because of the young and fast-paced industry it’s operating. I also try to do my part in making the world a little bit cleaner and greener, and AMPECO gives me the chance to do more of that.

Tell us more about your role as a DevOps Engineer at AMPECO.

As a DevOps engineer, my main responsibility is establishing processes and following best practices in relation to our infrastructure and software development.  I’m in charge of setting up, managing and extending our IT infrastructure within the cloud. I’m also responsible for managing deployment and release pipelines. My goal is to automate every process that can be automated in our software development cycle.

Why do you believe in AMPECO and its product?

I believe in AMPECO mainly because of the people here. We all share a similar mindset where we cannot compromise on quality. We want to build things the right way, and I really believe in this approach and that we are succeeding. Everyone is also open either for a discussion or to help. There are no barriers between us.

What does your typical workday look like?

I don’t really have a typical workday. There are days when I mainly work alone, where I get to focus deeply on various tasks. There are other days when I collaborate with my team, and we get to discuss and challenge each other’s ideas in order to arrive at the best outcome. There are days when I work from home and others when I’m at the office. I don’t have a template that I need to follow. No two days are the same, which is great.

What’s your favorite thing about working at AMPECO?

AMPECO gives me the chance to make the world a better place and the opportunity for professional development. I like the flexibility to work when and how I feel is best.

What do you love about your role?

I like the different challenges that come with my role. There is always something new to learn or some new problem to solve. The position also comes with a lot of responsibility and control. While managing our infrastructure, one wrong click or one bad line of code can do much damage, but I enjoy having this kind of responsibility.

What would you tell a friend who was considering working in AMPECO?

If you want to be part of an industry that makes the world more sustainable and continue developing yourself as a professional, AMPECO is an amazing choice. You have a lot of freedom and great responsibility at the same time.

What skillset do you need to work at one of the world’s leading EV charging software companies?

You need to be innovative, someone that wants to try new things, learn new things,  and does not fear change. This is probably the most important thing, as the EV industry is very young, but at AMPECO, you have the chance to become part of the team that actually develops the standards and processes within the industry.

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not busy managing our IT infrastructure?

I like to get together with friends and play board games in my free time. I enjoy playing non-serious party games and strategic games where you must carefully plan your turns. I also like going to escape rooms, the part where you figure out how things work and connect all the dots is very interesting to me. For my physical health, I like running and practicing stretching.

What’s one thing you do that is important to you?

I try to live more healthily by doing things such as cooking my food and getting enough sleep. Also, with all the time I spend in front of the computer, I need to stay active. So, for example, when going somewhere, instead of going by car or using public transport, I go there on foot.

How would you describe AMPECO in 3 words?

Responsible, sustainable, and innovative.

We are looking for top talent to join our engineering team and further enhance our EV charging management SaaS platform.

Join us in building the sustainable, electric future of mobility.
