MDAQMD is not accepting applications for this program until January 1, 2024.

The electric vehicle (EV) revolution is in full swing, and the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District (MDAQMD) is at the forefront of promoting cleaner transportation. Their Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Program is set to make EV charging more accessible than ever before, offering substantial reimbursements for approved projects.

What is the MDAQMD’s Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Program?

MDAQMD’s Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Program is a visionary initiative that aims to encourage local entities within the MDAQMD to install electric vehicle charging stations. These stations will offer public and private options for EV charging, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future. The program will reimburse MDAQMD Governing Board-approved projects up to a certain percentage of eligible costs, provided that adequate grant funding is available.
