EVCharge Live Indonesia 2026 brings Indonesia’s charge point operators, utilities, fleet operators, carmakers, developers and policymakers together for two days of conference sessions and an exhibition floor. It runs alongside Solar & Storage Live Indonesia, with one pass covering both, and the organizers expect 3,000+ attendees, 120+ speakers and 100+ exhibitors under the 2026 theme “Powering Indonesia’s eMobility Growth in 2026.”

Indonesia had about 4,892 public four-wheel charging units (SPKLU) in May 2026, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has set a target of 62,918 by 2030. Getting there means many more operators running stations, taking payments and connecting their networks to each other.

AMPECO attended EVCharge Live Indonesia in 2025 and returns this year as a Silver Sponsor at Booth J09, following ChargedUp@SG in Singapore and MobilityTech Asia in Bangkok earlier in 2026. More than 200 charging network operators in 70+ markets run their networks on AMPECO, with 300K+ chargers connected to the platform. Visit the booth to see how a white-label, hardware-agnostic platform gives operators full ownership of their brand, data and business model, with 200+ integrated hardware vendor brands to choose from. On Day 1, Pete Nikolov joins the panel on why EV charging isn’t scaling faster.

The conference agenda covers charging infrastructure, fleet and battery management, payments and revenue management, regulation, and finance and investment.

Why Isn’t EV Charging Scaling Faster? Uncomfortable Realities and Practical Solutions

Peter Nikolov, VP Global Accounts & Partnerships at AMPECO, joins the panel “Why Isn’t EV Charging Scaling Faster? Uncomfortable Realities and Practical Solutions” on Day 1.

Indonesia’s public charging network has grown quickly, but growth at the rate the 2030 target asks for depends on more than installing chargers. The panel looks at the obstacles operators meet once sites are running: site economics and utilization, charger uptime, interoperability between networks, and how drivers pay and roam. The panellists bring the operator, fleet, safety and software sides of the question.

Panel Lineup

  • Moderator: Ruth Dea Juwita, Journalist, The Jakarta Post
  • Lai Yuan Weng, Co-Founder and Director, MNL Solutions
  • Lionel Lee, Director, Westpoint Transit
  • Mahaendra Gofar, Founder, EVSafe
  • Peter Nikolov, VP Global Accounts & Partnerships, AMPECO

Key Takeaways

  • What keeps site economics and utilization from adding up, and which levers operators control
  • Why uptime decides whether drivers come back to a network
  • What interoperability between operators’ networks takes in practice
  • Where payments and roaming stand for Indonesian drivers, and what would make charging easier to use

Date / Time / Location: Day 1, November 11, 2026, 13:20, Stage 4, ICE BSD City, Tangerang.
